Editing Keeps Me Busy

I have been chugging away polishing up manuscripts on a regular basis. Over the last several months, I got the privilege of working with several new-to-me authors. Most of the work I've been editing has been in a genre I wouldn't normally be drawn to, crime drama.

Although I do adore watching procedurals and Midsomer Murderswhich is not so much drama as it is ... difficult to describeI tend to choose fantasy manuscripts. It's been fun stepping outside my comfort zone and embracing change.

Back in the genre of fantasy, I had a ton of fun editing The Falling City series by D. Lambert. It is available for pre-order now.

Lione by D. Lambert

I also got to alpha edit two books for Nick Savage over the last few months: The Grey Fairy Anomaly, which is available for pre-order and World Whore, D which he just sent off to his publisher.

The Grey Fairy Anomaly is the fifth and final book in the West Haven Undead series. I have loved every book in this series (which is good since I am narrating them now) and it was bittersweet to read the final book. He does a great job with it and promises that although the story of Scarlett, Allison, Connor, Bri, Duncan, Vistrus, and Grams is over, The Nation is far from complete, which I find both cryptic and exciting.

World Whore, D is a fun noir detective book. If you've read his Fairlane books, you'll notice a very similar feel to this book. Since he just sent it to his publisher, there isn't any info about release or anything like that.
